Avocado + raw honey facemask.
Why Avocado? Loaded with healthy fats, vitamins A, B, K and E which is loaded with antioxidants which help fight those free radicals that damage skin collagen and cause skin dryness.
Why raw honey? Packed full of Vitamin B, iron, copper, potassium, calcium, it’s loaded with anti-oxidants. It’s also a ‘humectant’ that attracts and retains moisture keeping your skin hydrated.
How to do it?
* We like to do a bit of a facial steam before a mask to help open up the pores so you can get the most benefits and nourishment out of mask. Do it after a shower or fill a bowl with hot water, grab a towel and create a little tent for your face for 5 minutes – just don’t get too close and burn yourself.
Grab half an avocado and mash it with 1 tablespoon of raw honey. Make a paste, slather it on your skin and leave for 15-20 minutes. Rise off with warm water and then top it all off with a bit of your favourite moisturiser – your skin will be feeling fresh, hydrated and smooth.
