Choosing a Better Frozen Dinner

I am all for cooking from scratch! However sometimes I just don’t have time for that, or sometimes I’m feeling less than inspired by what I planned for dinner that night. I know I am not alone right?

You all know I love eating balanced and healthy meals. Getting in all my nutritional goodies is really important, especially during the week with work, teaching yoga and training! I have to make sure I am feeding my body with all the good stuff. There are often times when I’m tired or I’ve stayed at work too late. So sometimes a simple and easy meal is just what I need. That’s why I wanted to share with you something I am loving at the moment. I recently have discovered the Weight Watchers Frozen Meals that you can get from your local Woolworths, Coles and Independent Grocery stores.

Last week I stumbled down the Frozen section aisle, funnily enough I was actually looking at buying a sneaky block of ice cream (don’t judge!). However, I actually discovered the Weight Watchers Frozen Meals instead. What caught my eye was the Gourmet Thai Green Chicken Curry. What I love about the Weight Watchers frozen meals is that they all fit into a fast paced lifestyle without being overly expensive. They are a great option if you are short on time and it’s a hell of a lot better than purchasing fat, greasy takeaway.

They are honestly a game changer for me. I now make sure my freezer is stocked with at least 2 – 3 of the meals for those nights I just can’t be bothered cooking. They are a massive improvement on a lot of the frozen meals that are available in our supermarkets today. All the meals are a source of protein and low in fat, an awesome option for anyone who wants to eat right and feel good in a more holistic and balanced way (just like me!).

Simple preparation, less time in the kitchen, super tasty and healthy! I now have more time at night to veg out and hang with loved ones.

My fav meals at the moment are the Thai Green Chicken Curry from the Gourmet menu, Mushroom & Pumpkin Risotto (I have never mastered a risotto in the kitchen, so this is ideal!) from the Light menu + and Moroccan Chicken & Pearl Couscous form the Gourmet menu – Winning!
